MAILER/POSTER DESCRIPTION The poster folds into a five inch by five inch mailer as a method of event promotion. As the recipient unfolds the poster, each of the sub-pages can be read from top or from the bottom (there is no single definition of 'up' in this case). The poster itself is ten inches by 20 inches and can be mounted either way also. |

Duality is a project for Design 154b Integrative Typography. It consists of a self-mailing poster, a program notes and tickets for this fake event. The poster was created first, and thus establishing a theme and visual language. This theme is then used in the creation of the booklet. As new ideas are generated, they are adapted and subsumed back into the poster. |
